- The realm of Cambridge is one full of magic, in which mystery abounds every day. Cambridge is a beautiful land, ruled by kings and statesmen, but unicorns can still be seen drinking cool water off the ponds on a mist filled morning. High above in the clouds, majestic dragons can be seen flying overhead, while lower down, wizards and witches cast their spells over the land to further their own unknowing causes, and knights joust in mock battles to prepare themselves for the great wars to come. -

FS plays 200 years from today, with Recoms, beings created by combining human and animal DNA having outlasted their creators, the humans, who wiped themselves out 150 years in the past. The Earth is inhospitable, and hence, Recoms escaped to the moon, and later, to other planets and even Solar Systems. -

- Trimere is an anthropomorphic medieval MUCK, which basically means all the characters in it are anthropomorphic (a.k.a. 'furry'), and the timeline is set in the Middle Ages, more specifically around the year 1000 AC. Since no humans are allowed, historic events that happened in the human world around that time are not relevant to the MUCK, i.e. there's no Queen Elizabeth I, Shakespeare, or King Arthur in the made-up universe of Trimere. -
